In Act 2 of A Dolls House, Nora has gotten into an even bigger hole. The pressure that Krogstad has put on her seems to be to much for her to handle as she becomes paranoid and anxious that he might send a letter about the whole thing or show up to their home. So in order to get rid of him, she does exactly what he asked and tried to convince her husband to keep him. But the risks were to great and Torvald had more reasons then any to fire Krogstad. And without a moment's hesitation, he sent a letter regarding of his immediate discharge right there.
Nora scared out of her mind over what her husband has done, doesn't know what to do. Soon Krogstad appears at their home, over the letter Torvald had sent him. And in return Krogstad goes through with his threat and does the same exploiting all that Nora had done in his letter. Nora does all she can to prevent her husband from seeing it. From trying to ask their family friend Dr. Rank for money, to Mrs. Linde going to see Krogstad to change his mind. But near the end of this "chapter" Nora comes to a decision that will have drastic outcomes. She chooses the only way out of this mess. Nora chooses suicide....
